I contacted Caring medical in May 2023. I had PRP injection four years prior in Ohio and it worked well. That doctor retired. When it failed, it failed quickly. I was told five years ago that my knee was completely shot and I was a candidate for knee replacement. Danielle told me the same thing at caring medical. I was fearful of the surgery then and now, since I’ve known people who’ve had it go bad. On my first visit to caring medical in May, Danielle, instead of pressuring me to go forward, told me my case was so advanced I should not expect success. If I did have success, she wanted me to understand that it would not be like a younger knee. I wanted to try to do everything as least invasive as possible before I resorted to the knee replacement. I did the stem cell injections. I was told it would be 4 to 6 weeks if it worked at all, before I see any sign of improvement. Before going to Caring I was wearing a brace just to function. I did therapy, at least most of it, that Danielle suggested on my first visit. After six weeks, I saw no improvement and I called my surgeon and scheduled the knee replacement. Almost 8 weeks to the day, I woke up pain-free. Every day for the next 10 days I saw a dramatic improvement. My friend said it was in my head because I was fearful of the surgery which was coming close. I canceled the surgery and set another appointment up with Danielle. The ultrasound showed very much growth in the spaces in my knee. The comparison to my initial ultrasound was dramatic, and confirmed that it was not in my head. At that point she suggested I give it another injection since it looked like my body was accepting this program. So I did the injection. For the next 60 days it was just like the first time where I went downhill. I even went backwards from the level I was at after the first injection. If I would’ve written a review then I would’ve said the program did not work for more than a couple of weeks. But then, just like the first time, every day became a joy to wake up to see what kind of a gift I would be given on my knee. I scheduled another appointment so I could see what the ultrasound was showing and get an opinion from Danielle. The ultrasound showed almost complete healing, and Danielle recommended not to go any farther since both knees were now equal. It is truly unbelievable. Every goal that I outlined that I wanted to be able to do on my first visit is now easily accomplishable. Incidentally, I am a very active person.

I am so grateful for my 3 months of treatment at Caring Medical! Dr. Hauser and staff all genuinely care about helping their patients in every way they can. They are incredibly organized, highly skilled at what they do, and work hard to get to the bottom of what is going on in your body. Dr. Hauser, personally, has taken the time to really look into what is causing my neck issues, and he is the only doctor, after a decade of dealing with these issues, who has done extensive testing and figured out what is going on. I am finally on the right path to healing! I went from having pain 24/7 to now only having it a couple days a week. I am still healing and making progress, so I fully expect the pain to continue to lessen as my neck continues to stabilize over the next few months. Dr. Hauser, Marylou, Brad, Joe, and all the staff have been so encouraging and supportive in this process and I am so thankful for their hard work and dedication!

The pain was getting worse after three (3) years of different medical treatments for a right hip injury, including Cortisone Injections, Physical Therapy, Chiropractic, Acupuncture, and Massages. Just by chance (and Google watching us), I got the YouTube suggestion to watch a video with Danielle R. Steilen-Matias, where she explained exactly what I was feeling.

I made an appointment and, with my wife, made the 175-mile drive for the first Prolotherapy and Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) treatment. I am generally in good physical shape, and Danielle explained that it would take 5 to 6 monthly treatments to recover fully and that my odds were good.

To be sincere, I was about to give up by the third treatment. It is a long drive, the treatment itself is painful and expensive (insurance just does not understand it), and I was not feeling better, but Danielle told me that after the third treatment, I would start feeling better. She was correct; after the 3rd treatment, I could sleep without pain, walk over one mile, etc. Then, after the 4th treatment, I felt great. I could play pickleball for the first time in my life and even played tennis without pain.

So, when I went for my 5th treatment, Danielle thoroughly inspected my mobility and decided to graduate me. After the inspection, I was in pain for a week, but now I am feeling great again. It only took 4 treatments to get me back to where I was almost 4 years ago!
